§ 02 · STRAIGHT ANSWERS
The questions that decide it.
- One price, however many of us there are?
Yes. Two people or twelve, the number does not move. If your firm is large enough that this looks mispriced in our favour, say so on the call. The arithmetic behind it is in Avise vs Affinity.
- Is this priced for a solo searcher or independent sponsor, not just a firm with staff?
Yes. The $249 is the same whether it is one principal running a search alone or a twelve-person advisory desk, because the unit is the firm, not the seat. A solo searcher pays the same as a five-person team.
- A free trial, or self-serve signup?
No. Every account starts with a conversation. Slower for both of us, and true today.
- Can we pay annually?
Ask on the call and we will put it in writing.
- What happens to our data if we leave?
You take it. Deals and contacts export by CSV, documents are yours to download, and there is no exit fee.
- Is Avise SOC 2 certified?
Type I is in progress and nothing has been issued yet. Our sub-processors hold Type II, theirs not ours. The full position is on the security page.
- Does Avise find deals for us?
No. It organises the outreach and deal flow that produce deals, and gets you through them faster. The list is yours to build.
- Our own cloud, or data outside the US?
No to both. Everything runs in the United States. Not shipped, so we will not sell it.
